Winter Newsletter 2021
Dear All,
Warm Greetings to all!
First of all, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generous donations, which continue to flow in response to COVID-19. Due to this extraordinary generosity, PRASAD can fulfil its commitment to helping people living in the Tansa Valley.
Last year, PRASAD directed most of its resources and donations towards urgent COVID relief work, including spreading awareness about prevention by distributing masks and sanitisers, handing out rations and doing health check-ups.
This year, most health services, including health check-ups for chronic diseases, dental clinics and mental-wellbeing consultations offered by Anukamapa Health Centre, have resumed. Given that the pandemic overburdened local health systems, continuing regular health clinics by PRASAD Chikitsa is of paramount importance.
Once again, we thank you all for your continued support and faith in PRASAD. We will be in touch again soon.
With love,
PRASAD Australia Board.
Your Support Is More Important Now Than Ever
Though we made great strides in combating the pandemic and addressing its far reaching consequences, 2021 continues to be challenging for people living in India.
Partnership with Americares: As we all know the second wave of this disease has hit the country hard and there is a greater need for medicines and medical equipment.
PRASAD has decided to respond to this by reaching out to the people living outside the Tansa Valley such as urban areas of Delhi and Mumbai. This is achieved by partnering with another organization, Americares, by providing them funds to procure and distribute PPE, oxygen machines and other resources. PRASAD Australia is committed to raising funds to this cause and helping people throughout India.
Remember all donations to PRASAD Australia over $2 are tax deductible and all donations (less 5% administrative costs) go directly to PRASAD Chikitsa.
